Once in a Blue Moon
Hardly ever happens (I’d say)
‘though maybe more
(or perhaps less)
often than you
’d like to think,
but,
I still miss you.
From time to time,
you’ll cross my mind,
then everything slips, tips,
tilts and skews to shades of blue.
This blue moon is special just like your poem!

ReplyDeleteI love this and can really relate to the last lines... once in blue moon! I took some pics last night while staring up at the moon. It wasn't blue, but it was beautiful!
