Duped
There’s
little logic
found
in anger and fear;
still
somehow
all
the fluff and froth
of
feisty rhetoric
caught
fire, enflamed.
Together
they banded
and collectively
clung,
tightly
spun in a web
of fantastical
illusions. But,
when
reality has to intrude
and it’s
time to come clean
how will
they know
to pack
their bags
and
go?
