My beautiful bloodroot,
sweet spring flower
fresh and pure
a delicate trillium,
beloved blossom
tender, young, fragile
a gentle bud,
he was never meant
to weather summer’s fire

Love trilliums! We have mostly white ones in WI. I named my daughter Trillium.
