Unspoken (2016 April PAD - Day 20)

Unspoken

He was a man

of few words

and in the twenty years

that our lives overlapped

he never once said

“I love you”

to anyone

that I can recall

and yet

while the words

were never voiced

 still we knew them

to be true.
