IMMEASURABLE

photo "clipped" from youtube video

Immeasurable

How can you calibrate
connections
betwixt siblings
twins defined by DNA
divided at birth
orphaned in infancy
dispatched
half a world away
children of the heart
seven hundred miles apart
persisting sisters
biding by heartstrings

PSC / Nov 2010

NOTE:  This poem is based on a true story.
